Arrowsmith School is currently accepting applications from families of
students who wish to enroll for the 2008 - 2009
academic year in the Eaton Arrowsmith School full-time day program or
in one of the part-time programs. Admissions to the part-time programs
are accepted throughout the current school year depending on availability
of space.

All students entering the full-time or part-time program at Eaton Arrowsmith School with the exception of the part-time Saturday Motor Symbol Sequencing program require full testing. Please see the Testing page of our web site for more information.
Is the Arrowsmith Program suitable for your child?
The typical full-time student at Eaton Arrowsmith School
• is of average or above average intelligence
• has five or more of the learning dysfunctions that are described in the Descriptions of 19 Dysfunctions on our web site and in our brochure
• is between six and nineteen years old
• does not suffer from emotional or behavioural disorders that would significantly affect his or her ability to participate in the Arrowsmith Program.
• does not suffer from acquired brain injury or severe intellectual or cognitive disorders such as universal global delay, mental retardation, developmental delay, Down syndrome, autism, pervasive developmental disorder or Aspergers syndrome.
Most of the students at Eaton Arrowsmith School range in age from six years to their late teens; however, current research has established that a stage of rapid growth in learning capacity occurs in younger children and for this reason younger students (in the six to eleven year old age range) have been shown to achieve faster results from our program.

Please review the Descriptions of 19 Dysfunctions on this web site to see if there is a match between your child's areas of difficulty and the areas described in this list.
Our experience and research have shown that the Arrowsmith Program has proven to be most effective with students of average or above average intelligence who have identifiable difficulties involving five or more learning dysfunctions.
These students will ordinarily be experiencing problems with reading, writing, mathematics, understanding or dyslexia, and may also have attention deficit disorder accompanying their learning disabilities.
Please also review any test reports or formal assessments of your child so that we may discuss them with you. It is not necessary to send copies to us at this time.

Enrollment and tuition at Eaton Arrowsmith School
If you decide after the testing and meeting with us to enroll your child at Eaton Arrowsmith School, please note that the annual fee for enrollment in the Eaton Arrowsmith School full time day program is $23,900. G.S.T. is not payable on the testing fee or on the tuition fee for the full-time program or any of the part-time programs.
